      Abstract
Pendugaan tinggi pohon sering terkendala bias alat konvensional.

Tree height estimation is often hindered by conventional tool bias. This study evaluated the accuracy, precision, and time efficiency of the clinometer and walking stick against Nikon Forestry Pro in Pine (Pinus merkusii) and Uganda Mahogany (Khaya anthotheca) stands at Tahura Djuanda. Results from 80 sample trees showed the clinometer is significantly more reliable and consistent than the walking stick. The clinometer's correction model is most optimal, requiring no correction in Uganda Mahogany stands due to high inherent accuracy. Conversely, the walking stick has weak model reliability. Nikon Forestry Pro is the fastest (14.26–15.45 s/tree), followed by the walking stick (33.85–34.94 s/tree), and clinometer (39.05–41.81 s/tree). The clinometer is recommended as the most optimal conventional tool due to its data accuracy.
