| dc.description.abstract | Kegiatan operasional perkantoran menghasilkan limbah bahan berbahaya dan beracun (Limbah B3) yang berpotensi menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan dan risiko terhadap kesehatan serta keselamatan apabila tidak dikelola sesuai ketentuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan perancangan pengelolaan dan menyusun dokumen rincian teknis penyimpanan Limbah B3 di area perkantoran. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif melalui identifikasi sumber, jenis, karakteristik, dan jumlah timbulan Limbah B3, serta perancangan pengelolaan dan fasilitas Tempat Penyimpanan Sementara (TPS) Limbah B3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total timbulan Limbah B3 sebesar 587,47 kg/bulan yang terdiri atas limbah nonmedis dan medis dengan karakteristik beracun, korosif, mudah menyala, dan infeksius. Perancangan pengelolaan dilakukan melalui penerapan hierarki pengelolaan Limbah B3 yang meliputi upaya preventif, pemanfaatan kembali, pengolahan, dan penimbunan residu. Selain itu, dihasilkan dokumen rincian teknis yang mencakup desain TPS Limbah B3 berukuran 9,365 m × 7,8 m × 3,5 m, sistem pengemasan dan penyimpanan, fasilitas keselamatan dan tanggap darurat, serta administrasi pengelolaan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Office operational activities generate hazardous and toxic waste that may pose environmental and health risks if not managed properly. This study aimed to design hazardous and toxic waste management and prepare a technical document for the storage of hazardous and toxic waste in office areas in accordance with applicable technical standards and regulations. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach through the identification of waste sources, types, characteristics, and generation rates, followed by the planning and design of a Temporary Storage Facility for Hazardous and Toxic Waste. The results showed that the total generation of hazardous and toxic waste reached 587,47 kg/month, consisting of toxic, corrosive, flammable, and infectious waste characteristics. The study produced a technical document containing waste inventory data, storage facility design, waste packaging systems, storage layout, supporting facilities, emergency response procedures, standard operating procedures, and administrative requirements. The designed storage facility measures 9,365 m × 7,8 m × 3,5 m and complies with the applicable regulatory requirements. | |
