| dc.description.abstract | Pengendalian persediaan merupakan aspek penting dalam menjaga kelancaran produksi dan meminimalkan biaya. PT Natamas Plast menghadapi permasalahan permintaan material PP Borouge RB 307MO yang bersifat fluktuatif, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya stock out dan overstock. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan metode Min-Max dan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) serta menentukan metode yang paling efisien dalam pengendalian persediaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui perhitungan batas persediaan minimum dan maksimum menggunakan metode Min-Max, serta penentuan jumlah pemesanan optimal dan Reorder Point (ROP) menggunakan metode EOQ. Selanjutnya dilakukan analisis Total Inventory Cost (TIC) sebagai dasar perbandingan efisiensi biaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Min-Max menghasilkan frekuensi pemesanan sebesar 27 kali per tahun dengan TIC Rp 3.000.000 hingga Rp 4.000.000. Sementara itu, metode EOQ menghasilkan frekuensi pemesanan sebesar 36 kali per tahun dengan TIC Rp 3.000.000 hingga Rp 4.000.000. Dengan demikian, metode Min-Max dinilai lebih efisien dalam meminimalkan biaya persediaan dibandingkan metode EOQ dan kebijakan aktual perusahaan. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Inventory control is a crucial aspect in maintaining production continuity and minimizing costs. PT Natamas Plast faces issues related to fluctuating demand for PP Borouge RB 307MO material, which leads to stockouts and overstock. This study aims to compare the Min-Max and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) methods and determine the most efficient method for inventory control. This study uses a quantitative approach by calculating minimum and maximum inventory limits using the Min-Max method, and determining the optimal order quantity and Reorder Point (ROP) using the EOQ method. Furthermore, Total Inventory Cost (TIC) is analyzed as the basis for evaluating cost efficiency. The results indicate that the Min-Max method produces an ordering frequency of 27 times per year with a TIC ranging from IDR 3,000,000 to IDR 4.000.000. Meanwhile, the EOQ method results in an ordering frequency of 36 times per year with a TIC ranging from IDR 3,000,000 to IDR 4,000,000. Therefore, the Min-Max method is considered more efficient in minimizing inventory costs compared to the EOQ method and the company’s current policy. | |
