| dc.description.abstract | Gudang finished goods memiliki peran penting dalam sebuah perusahaan penghasil barang karena gudang finished goods menjadi titik akhir dalam sebuah proses operasi dan menjadi titik awal sebuah pendistribusian barang. Namun, gudang finished goods milik PT XYZ mengalami permasalahan gudang yang overcapacity dikarenakan belum adanya sistem pengendalian stok gudang serta tidak adanya visual control, sehingga menghambat akses pengambilan barang dan penerapan sistem FIFO. Metode yang digunakan why-why analysis, perhitungan safety stock, penentuan nilai Min-Max, dan pengukuran warehouse space utilization rate sebagai alat pembanding efektivitas serta klasifikasi Fast, Slow and Non-Moving untuk melihat barang mana yang memiliki perputaran barang yang cepat, lambat atau tidak bergerak. Terdapat indikasi peningkatan efisiensi penggunaan gudang setelah dilakukan penerapan metode Min-Max yang ditunjukkan dengan penurunan nilai warehouse space utilization rate dari 107.14% menjadi 90.4%. Implementasi didukung dengan mieruka board dan work instructions untuk penggunaan mieruka board dan flowchart sebagai panduan untuk menetapkan nilai Min-Max untuk stok di gudang finished goods. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The finished goods warehouse plays a crucial role in a manufacturing company because it serves as the final point in an operational process and the starting point for goods distribution. However, PT XYZ's finished goods warehouse experienced overcapacity due to the lack of a warehouse stock control system and visual control, which hampered access to goods retrieval and the implementation of the FIFO system. The methods used included why-why analysis, safety stock calculations, determining the Min-Max value, and measuring the warehouse space utilization rate as a comparative tool for effectiveness. The classification of Fast, Slow, and Non-Moving items was used to determine which items had fast, slow, or non-moving turnover. There are indications of increased warehouse efficiency after implementing the Min-Max method to control inventory levels, as indicated by a decrease in the warehouse space utilization rate from 107.14% to 90.4%. The implementation was supported by a mieruka board and work instructions for its use, as well as a flowchart as a guide for determining the Min-Max value for finished goods warehouse stock. | |
