dc.description.abstractPemanfaatan teknologi VSAT mendukung penyediaan layanan internet pada wilayah terpencil, namun proses monitoring dan top up kuota pada salah satu perusahaan masih dilakukan secara manual melalui Account Manager (AM), sehingga berpotensi menyebabkan keterlambatan layanan dan ketergantungan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan perancangan dan implementasi fitur monitoring serta top up kuota VSAT berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efisiensi layanan. Penelitian menerapkan metode Extreme Programming (XP) melalui dua iterasi yang mencakup tahapan planning, design, coding, dan testing. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan Black Box Testing dan User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sistem mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna serta meningkatkan efisiensi proses top up dari 24 jam menjadi 3,84 detik dengan efisiensi 99,99%, serta mempercepat akses monitoring dari 5–15 menit menjadi 0,91 detik dengan efisiensi 99,84%.
dc.description.abstractThe utilization of VSAT technology supports internet service availability in remote areas; however, the monitoring and quota top-up processes in a satellite internet service provider are still performed manually through an Account Manager (AM), leading to potential service delays and user dependency. This study aims to design and implement web-based VSAT monitoring and quota top-up features to improve service efficiency. This study applies the Extreme Programming (XP) method through two iterations consisting of planning, design, coding, and testing phases. System testing is conducted using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results show that the system meets user requirements and significantly improves efficiency, reducing the top-up process time from 24 hours to 3,84 seconds with 99.99% efficiency, and accelerating monitoring access from 5–15 minutes to 0,91 seconds with 99.84% efficiency.
