      Abstract

The presence of new sheep on a farm requires special attention to adapt to the new environment and maintenance management, this action will reduce the risk of changes in health conditions and reduce the spread of unwanted diseases to the pre-existing sheep population. This study aimed to obtain information on clinical signs and analyze the relationship between pen density and clinical signs in Priangan sheep seven days after arrival at Pesona Satwa Farm. The study was conducted on 65 female Priangan sheep kept in three pens for five weeks. Data were collected through weekly observations and analyzed using Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The highest percentage of livestock exhibiting clinical signs was observed in Pen 3 (25.7%), with signs including red eyes, scabs in the oral area, and nasal discharge. The analysis revealed a strong, significant relationship between pen density and clinical signs (r = -0.797; p < 0.001), with a regression equation of Y = 248.500 - 79.000X and an R² value of 0.636.
