Pengukuran Waktu Baku dan Perbaikan Instruksi Kerja untuk Meminimalkan Non Value Added Activity pada Proses Rehanging di PT XYZ

Abstract

PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di sektor industri unggas dengan fokus utama pada Rumah Potong Ayam (RPA). Tujuan dari Proyek Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengkaji proses rehanging yang mengalami penumpukan ayam serta menganalisis penyebab terjadinya hambatan tersebut terhadap kelancaran proses produksi. Metode yang digunakan adalah time study dengan alat stopwatch melalui pengukuran waktu siklus, perhitungan waktu normal dengan metode Westinghouse, serta penentuan waktu baku dengan faktor kelonggaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa belum adanya standar waktu baku dan instruksi kerja yang menyebabkan ketidakteraturan proses rehanging. Oleh karena itu, penetapan waktu baku dan penyusunan instruksi kerja diusulkan sebagai upaya perbaikan. Penerapan usulan tersebut diharapkan dapat mengurangi penumpukan ayam dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses rehanging di PT XYZ.

PT XYZ is a company operating in the poultry industry, with its main focus on a Poultry Slaughterhouse. The purpose of this final project is to examine the rehanging process that experiences chicken accumulation and to analyze the causes of these obstacles affecting the smoothness of the production process. The method used is a time study using a stopwatch, including cycle time measurement, normal time calculation using the Westinghouse method, and determination od standard time with allowance factors. The result indicate that the absence of standard time and work instructions causes irregularities in the rehanging process. Therefore, the establishment of standard time and the development of work instructions are proposed as improvements. The implementation of these proposals is expected to reduce chicken accumulation and improve the efficiency of the rehaning process at PT XYZ.
