The Pull-Rope felling technique is one of the most widely used rope-assisted tree felling techniques in community forests in Indonesia. Information regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of this felling technique remains limited. This study aims to measure the work time, productivity, and costs associated with the pull-rope felling technique in private forests. The study was conducted in 23 priivate forests within the Private Forest Owners Association in Wonosobo Regency that were being logged. A total of 87 sample trees were felled. Observations were made on three different felling technique variations based on the number of work elements: VT1 (9 elements), VT2 (8 elements), and VT3 (7 elements). Work time measurements were conducted using the null-stop method. The height and diameter of the felled trees were measured to calculate logging yield. Cost data were collected through interviews with loggers. The results showed that the highest total effective work time was recorded for VT1 at 41.64 minutes/tree, followed by VT2 at 16.31 minutes/tree, and VT3 at 10.35 minutes/tree. The highest productivity was achieved by VT2 at 1.17 m³/hour, followed by VT3 at 1.12 m³/hour, and VT1 at 1.06 m³/hour. Machine costs were recorded at Rp6,489/hour, with operating costs of Rp50,238/hour. The lowest production cost was found in VT2 at Rp42,938/m³.
