Penerapan Teknik Visual Storytelling dalam Proses Penulisan Naskah Video Company Profile Sekretariat Daerah Kota Bogor

Abstract

Proyek akhir ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pembuatan video company profile Sekretariat Daerah Kota Bogor sebagai media komunikasi digital berbasis audiovisual untuk menyampaikan informasi mengenai lembaga secara lengkap. Proyek ini bertujuan menjelaskan proses penulisan naskah, penerapan teknik visual storytelling, serta efektivitas video company profile yang dipublikasikan melalui Instagram Reels. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, analisis dokumen, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis insight Instagram. Proses penulisan naskah dilakukan melalui tahapan pra-produksi dengan menerapkan unsur visual storytelling dari Caputo yang meliputi continuity, clarity, realism, dynamism, dan intuition. Hasil proyek ini menunjukkan bahwa video company profile yang dihasilkan menyajikan informasi kelembagaan secara jelas dan terstruktur, memperoleh respons positif dari audiens melalui insight Instagram, serta mendapatkan penilaian sangat baik dari mitra terhadap aspek penulisan naskah dan kualitas video.

This final project involved the production of a company profile video for the Bogor City Regional Secretariat as an audiovisual digital communication medium to provide comprehensive institutional information. The project aimed to describe the scriptwriting process, the implementation of visual storytelling techniques, and the effectiveness of the company profile video published through Instagram Reels. The methods employed included observation, document analysis, in-depth interviews, and Instagram insight analysis. The scriptwriting process was carried out through the pre-production, production, and post-production stages by applying Caputo’s visual storytelling elements, namely continuity, clarity, realism, dynamism, and intuition. The results showed that the company profile video successfully presented institutional information in a clear and structured manner, received positive audience responses based on Instagram insights, and obtained excellent evaluations from the project partner regarding both the scriptwriting aspects and the overall video quality.
