Penerapan Total Productive Maintenance Berbasis Efektivitas Pada Mesin Filling Sachet di PT XYZ

Abstract

Penurunan kinerja dan efektivitas mesin disebabkan karena menurunnya performa mesin akibat adanya downtime yang berulang. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Total Productive Maintenance pada departemen produksi PT XYZ khususnya di bagian mesin filling sachet. Metode yang digunakan mencakup analisis delapan pilar TPM, penerapan budaya kerja 5S, perhitungan RCM, perhitungan OEE, serta identifikasi masalah dengan fishbone diagram dan perbandingan hasil menggunakan pairwise comparison. Hasil nilai OEE sebesar 66%, dengan rendahnya nilai performance dalam perhitungan OEE yang disebabkan karena adanya downtime berulang pada seal horizontal. Dalam menangani permasalahan tersebut, diusulkan adanya One point lesson (OPL) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman kepada operator maupun teknisi dalam menangani mesin filling sachet.

The decline in machine performance and effectiveness is caused by deteriorating mechanical health due to recurring downtime. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) within the production department of PT XYZ, specificially focusing on the sachet filling machines. The methodology employed includes the analysis of the eight pillars of TPM, the application of 5S work culture, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) calculations, Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) measurements, problem identification using fishbone diagrams, and result comparisons through pairwise comparison. OEE value results of 66%, with indicate a low performance rate in the OEE calculation, attributed to frequent downtime on the horizontal seal. To address this issue, a one point lesson (OPL) is proposed to enhance the proficiency of both operators and technicians in managing sachet filling machines.
