| dc.description.abstract | Nereis sp. berisiko menjadi carrier bakteri patogen bagi udang, termasuk Vibrio sp. sebagai vektor potensial yang dapat membawa penyakit ke dalam sistem budidaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji efektivitas Eurycoma longifolia dalam menekan populasi Vibrio sp. di Nereis sp. dan udang vaname. Dosis Eurycoma longifolia yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 g/L (PB16), 21 g/L (PB21), dan 26 g/L (PB26). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu zona hambat, Total Bacterial Count (TBC), Total Vibrio Count (TVC), tingkat sintasan, Total Haemocyte Count (THC), mikrobiologi dan Vibrio sp. di air, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan PB16 menurunkan TBC dan TVC. Perlakuan PB16 juga meningkatkan THC. Pemberian Eurycoma longifolia PB16 efektif dalam menurunkan TBC dan TVC serta meningkatkan performa kesehatan induk udang.

| dc.description.abstract | Nereis sp. pose a risk of being carriers of pathogenic bacteria for shrimp, including Vibrio sp., as potential vectors that can transmit diseases into the aquaculture system. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of Eurycoma longifolia in suppressing the Vibrio sp. population in Nereis sp. and vaname shrimp. The dosages of Eurycoma longifolia used in this study were 16 g/L (PB16), 21 g/L (PB21), and 26 g/L (PB26). This study was conducted a completely randomized design method with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The parameters observed were inhibition zone, Total Bacterial Count (TBC), Total Vibrio Count (TVC), survival rate, Total Haemocyte Count (THC), water microbiology, and water quality. The results showed that the PB16 treatment reduced TBC and TVC. The PB16 treatment also increased THC. The administration of Eurycoma longifolia at PB16 was effective in reducing TBC and TVC and improving the health performance of the shrimp broodstock.
