      Pendugaan Keanekaragaman Jenis Tegakan dan Serapan Karbon Menggunakan Penginderaan Jauh di Hutan Wakaf YPM, Mojokerto

      Abstract
      Hutan Wakaf Yayasan Pendidikan dan Sosial Ma’arif (YPM) memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga stabilitas iklim. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keanekaragaman jenis dan struktur tegakan, menduga simpanan dan serapan karbon hutan, serta membangun model spasial hubungan antara indeks vegetasi dengan kerapatan (ind/ha), jumlah jenis, luas bidang dasar (LBDS) dan serapan karbon di Hutan Wakaf YPM, Mojokerto. Penelitian dilakukan di Hutan Wakaf YPM dengan luas 2,4 haktar. Metode penelitian meliputi pembangunan 48 plot berukuran 10 × 10 meter untuk analisis vegetasi, pendugaan serapan karbon secara destruktif dan non-destruktif, serta analisis indeks vegetasi (Forest Canopy Density/FCD, Difference Vegetation Index/DVI, dan kombinasi FCD-DVI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 84 jenis tumbuhan yang tergolong dalam 28 famili. Famili terbanyak adalah Fabaceae. Jenis yang paling dominan adalah Tectona grandis. Indeks keanekaragaman jenis tergolong sedang. Rata-rata biomassa, simpanan karbon, serapan karbon secara berurutan adalah 22,40 ton/ha, 10,53 ton/ha, 38,63 ton/ha. DVI mampu menduga serapan karbon (R2 = 71,54%) dengan model serapan karbon (Y) = 12,887DVI – 3,2406.
       
      The Ma'arif Education and Social Foundation (YPM) Waqf Forest plays an important role in maintaining climate stability. This study aims to analyze species diversity and stand structure, estimate forest carbon stock and sequestration, and build a spatial model of the relationship between vegetation index and density (ind/ha), number of species, basal area (BA) and carbon sequestration in the YPM Waqf Forest, Mojokerto. The study was conducted in the YPM Waqf Forest with an area of 2,4 hectares. The research method included the construction of 48 plots measuring 10 × 10 meters for vegetation analysis, destructive and non-destructive carbon stock and sequestration estimation, as well as vegetation index analysis (Forest Canopy Density/FCD, Difference Vegetation Index/DVI, and a combination of FCD-DVI). The results showed that there were 84 plant species belonging to 28 families. The largest family was Fabaceae. The most dominant species was Tectona grandis. The species diversity index was classified as moderate. The average biomass, carbon stock, and carbon sequestration were 22,40 tons/ha, 10,53 tons/ha, and 38,63 tons/ha, respectively. DVI was able to predict carbon uptake (R2 = 71.54%) with the model carbon sequestration (Y) = 12.887DVI – 3.2406.
