      Abstract
      Provinsi Kalimantan Barat merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan luas lahan gambut terbesar di Pulau Kalimantan, dengan Kabupaten Kubu Raya sebagai salah satu wilayah yang memiliki luas lahan gambut tertinggi di provinsi tersebut. Akan tetapi, aktivitas antropogenik berupa alih fungsi lahan gambut untuk pertanian mengakibatkan lahan gambut mengering serta rentan terhadap fenomena kebakaran lahan. Curah hujan, sebagai salah satu variabel penting dalam dinamika sistem hidrologi lahan gambut, berperan penting dalam penanganan kebakaran lahan gambut tersebut, sehingga dibutuhkan data hujan dengan resolusi tinggi. Metode dynamical downscaling menawarkan solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model merupakan salah satu perangkat lunak yang paling umum digunakan untuk dynamical downscaling. Permasalahan yang dijumpai dalam penggunaan WRF adalah pemilihan skema parameterisasi yang dapat memengaruhi luaran hasil dynamical downscaling berdasarkan wilayah kajian. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada wilayah Kubu Raya, parameter Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) merupakan parameter paling berpengaruh terhadap variabel hujan. Simulasi 5 diketahui merupakan simulasi terbaik untuk melakukan dynamical downscaling pada musim kering, sementara Simulasi 1 merupakan simulasi terbaik dalam merepresentasikan karakteristik hujan pada musim basah.
       
      West Kalimantan Province is home to one of the largest peatland areas on Borneo Island, with Kubu Raya Regency representing one of the most extensive peatland areas within the province. However, anthropogenic activities such as land-use conversion for agriculture have caused peatland drying, increasing its vulnerability to wildfire. Rainfall characteristics are among the most critical variables in determining the hydrological dynamics of peatland ecosystems and play an important role in wildfire management; therefore, high-resolution precipitation data are essential for accurate analysis. Dynamical downscaling offers a viable approach to generating such data, with the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model being one of the most widely used tools for this purpose. However, a fundamental challenge in WRF application lies in the selection of parameterization schemes, as different configurations can yield substantially different outputs depending on the region of interest. This study found that, in Kubu Raya, the Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) scheme was the most influential parameter in determining rainfall simulation output. Results indicate that Simulation 5 produced the most accurate representation of dry-season conditions, while Simulation 1 performed best in representing wet-season rainfall characteristics.
