Studi Kasus Multiinfeksi Hemoparasit pada Anjing di Piara Pet Care
Abstract
Infeksi hemoparasit yang ditularkan caplak sering terjadi pada anjing di
daerah tropis dan dapat berlangsung bersamaan sehingga menimbulkan gangguan
klinis dan perubahan hematologis. Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan gambaran
klinis, hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium, terapi, dan respons kesembuhan pada kasus
multiinfeksi Anaplasma spp., Babesia spp., dan Ehrlichia spp. Penelitian dilakukan
secara deskriptif klinis pada anjing Shih Tzu jantan berumur sembilan tahun.
Pemeriksaan meliputi evaluasi fisik, rapid test kit (A Pet Care®), apusan darah, dan
analisis hematologi (MINDRAY BC-2800 VET®). Hasil menunjukkan positif
Anaplasma spp., Ehrlichia spp. dan positif lemah Babesia spp., disertai anemia
normositik hipokromik dan trombositopenia. Terapi kausatif berupa (Doxycycline
dan Imidox®) dikombinasikan dengan terapi suportif (Asering®, Hematodin®,
Cyproheptadine, Neuro Forte®, Xepazym®, Lacto B®, dan Ursodeoxycholic acid)
selama tiga minggu. Kondisi klinis dan parameter hematologi membaik, dan kasus
dinyatakan sembuh pada minggu ketiga. Tick-borne hemoparasitic infections are common in dogs in tropical regions
and may occur concurrently, causing clinical disorders and hematological changes.
This study aimed to describe clinical findings, laboratory results, therapy, and
recovery response in a case of co-infection with Anaplasma spp., Babesia spp., and
Ehrlichia spp. A descriptive clinical study was conducted on a nine-year-old male
Shih Tzu. Examinations included physical evaluation, rapid test kit (A Pet Care®),
blood smear, and hematological analysis (MINDRAY BC-2800 VET®). Results
showed positive Anaplasma spp., Ehrlichia spp., and weak positive Babesia spp.,
with normocytic hypochromic anemia and thrombocytopenia. Causative therapy
with (Doxycycline and Imidox®) was combined with supportive therapy (Asering®,
Hematodin®, Cyproheptadine, Neuro Forte®, Xepazym®, Lacto B®, and
Ursodeoxycholic acid) for three weeks. Clinical condition and hematological
parameters improved, and the case was declared clinically recovered in the third
week.
