| dc.description.abstract | Striped catfish Pangasianodon hypophthalmus is one of the leading
freshwater aquaculture commodities within the catfish group. This study aimed to
determine the benefits of dietary supplementation of earthworm flour on the
gonad maturity level of striped catfish. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD)
was employed, consisting of three treatments and six replications: control
(without earthworm flour), LR1 (5% w/w earthworm flour), and LR2 (10% w/w
earthworm flour). Striped catfish broodstock with an average body weight of ±2.3
kg/fish were reared in tarpaulin ponds measuring 6×3.5×1.5 m³. The earthworm
flour was incorporated into the feed using the coating method. The results showed
that the LR2 treatment yielded the best performance compared to the control and
LR1 treatments. Significant differences were observed in Absolute Weight
Growth (AWG), Gonad Maturity Level (GML), and egg diameter. In conclusion,
the application of 10% earthworm flour via the coating method is highly effective
in enhancing the reproductive performance of female striped catfish broodstock in
aquaculture. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Ikan patin Pangasianodon hypophthalmus merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan perikanan air tawar dari kelompok ikan catfish. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat penambahan tepung cacing tanah dalam pakan terhadap tingkat kematangan gonad ikan patin. Metode yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan enam ulangan, yaitu kontrol (tanpa tepung cacing tanah), LR1 (tepung cacing tanah 5% w/w), dan LR2 (tepung cacing tanah 10% w/w). Induk ikan patin memiliki bobot tubuh rata-rata ±2,3 kg/ekor, dan dipelihara dalam kolam terpal berukuran 6×3,5×1,5 m³. Pemberian tepung cacing tanah dilakukan dengan metode coating. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan LR2 memberikan kinerja terbaik dibandingkan perlakuan K dan LR1. Parameter Pertumbuhan Bobot Mutlak (PBM), Tingkat Kematangan Gonad (TKG), diameter telur menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata. Aplikasi tepung cacing tanah 10% dengan metode coating
