      Perbandingan Model Seasonal ARIMAX dan Gated Recurrent Unit dalam Memprediksi Indeks Kualitas Udara PM2.5 di DKI Jakarta

      Abstract
      Pencemaran udara merupakan permasalahan yang tidak ada habisnya, khususnya di kota besar seperti Jakarta. Indeks Standar Pencemaran Udara (ISPU) terdiri dari berbagai parameter, salah satunya PM2.5. Tinggi rendahnya ISPU dapat dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal seperti curah hujan dan kecepatan angin sebagai peubah eksogen. Tingginya pencemaran udara dapat berdampak negatif terhadap kesehatan dan lingkungan, sehingga diperlukan metode prediksi yang akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan kinerja model SARIMAX dan GRU dalam memprediksi indeks kualitas udara, serta melakukan prediksi selama enam bulan ke depan menggunakan model terbaik. Data yang digunakan adalah data harian periode 1 Januari 2021 hingga 30 November 2025 di DKI Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model terbaik adalah GRU dengan dua hidden layer, batch size 128, epoch 30, learning rate 0,001, window size 14 hari, serta 128 neuron. Model dibangun menggunakan expanding cross validation dengan lima window, masing-masing terdiri atas 68 data uji. Rata-rata nilai MAPE dari kelima yang diperoleh sebesar 17,0377%. Hasil prediksi menunjukkan pola yang cenderung menurun pada awal periode, kemudian meningkat secara bertahap.
       
      Air pollution remains an ongoing problem, particularly in large cities such as Jakarta. The Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) consists of several parameters, one of which is PM2.5. The level of ISPU can be influenced by external factors such as rainfall and wind speed as exogenous variables. High levels of air pollution can have negative impacts on human health and the environment, thus an accurate forecasting method is required. This study aims to compare the performance of SARIMAX and GRU models in forecasting air quality index and to generate forecasts for the next six months using the selected best model. The data used are daily air quality data from January 1, 2021 to November 30, 2025 in DKI Jakarta. The results show that the best model is GRU with two hidden layers, batch size of 128, 30 epochs, learning rate of 0.001, window size of 14 days, and 128 neurons. The model is constructed using expanding cross validation with five windows, each consisting of 68 testing data points. The average Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) obtained from all windows is 17,0377%. The forecasting results indicate a decreasing pattern at the beginning of the period, followed by a gradual increase.
