      Analisis Fungsi Bentuk pada Geometri Wormhole Morris-Thorne dalam Ruangwaktu 4+1 Dimensi

      Abstract
      Wormhole adalah struktur topologi ruangwaktu yang dapat menghubungkan dua wilayah jauh di alam semesta atau menghubungkan alam semesta yang berbeda. Salah satu aspek utama dalam menentukan bentuk spasial dari geometri wormhole yaitu dengan pemilihan fungsi bentuk. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis karakteristik geometri wormhole mengunakan keempat model dari fungsi bentuk dalam krangka ruangwaktu berdimensi lebih tinggi, yaitu 4+1 dimensi. Model yang dikaji kemudian dievaluasi syarat-syarat geometrinya. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis analitik terhadap fungsi bentuk dan turunannya serta pendekatan numerik untuk memvisualisasikan diagram embedding dari geometri wormhole. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tiga dari empat model fungsi bentuk yang dianalisis mampu memenuhi syarat terbentuknya throat serta kondisi flare-out dan menghasilkan struktur geometri yang konsisten dengan karakteristik wormhole.
       
      Wormholes are topological structures of spacetime that can connect two distant regions of the universes or link different universes. One of the main aspects in determining the spatial from of wormhole geometry is the choice of the shape function. This study aims to analyze the geometrical characteristics of a wormhole using four different shape function models within a higher-dimensional spacetime framework, specifically in 4+1 dimensions. The studied models are then evaluated based on their geometric conditions. The method used includes analytical analysis of the shape function and its derivatives, as well as a numerical approach to visualize the embedding diagram of the wormhole geometry. The results show that three out of the four analyzed shape function models satisfy the conditions for the formation of the wormhole throat and the flare-out condition, producing a geometrical structure consistent with the fundamental characteristics of a wormhole.
