      Pengaruh Rejected Coal Sebagai Substitusi Agregat Halus Terhadap Sifat Fisis Dan Mekanis Bata Beton Roster

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh rejected coal sebagai substitusi agregat halus dalam pembuatan bata beton roster berdasarkan karakteristik fisis agregat halus. Hasil karakterisasi SEM-EDS menunjukkan unsur dominan O (85,28%) dan Si (11,09%), sedangkan analisis XRD mengidentifikasi kandungan utama SiO2 (90,3%) dengan fase dominan tanah lempung (53,8%) dan kuarsa (31,7%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rejected coal berpotensi digunakan sebagai substitusi agregat halus pada bata beton roster. Penggunaan rejected coal menghasilkan variasi kuat tekan dan massa jenis yang masih memenuhi persyaratan mutu SNI 03-0349-1989. Pengujian kuat lentur dan kuat lekat menunjukkan adanya perubahan sifat mekanis material, serta variasi kadar semen berpengaruh terhadap karakteristik fisis dan mekanis bata beton roster.
       
      This research aims to analyze the effect of rejected coal as a fine aggregate substitute in the production of concrete ventilation blocks based on the physical and chemical characteristics of the fine aggregate. SEM-EDS characterization shows that the dominant elements are O (85.28%) and Si (11.09%), while XRD analysis identifies SiO2 as the main compound (90.3%) with dominant phases of clay (53.8%) and quartz (31.7%). The results indicate that rejected coal has potential as a fine aggregate substitute in concrete ventilation blocks. The use of rejected coal results in variations in compressive strength and density that still meet the requirements of SNI 03-0349-1989. Flexural and bond strength tests show changes in the mechanical properties of the material, and variations in cement content affect the physical and mechanical characteristics of the concrete ventilation blocks.
