Pendugaan Potensi Getah Pinus (Pinus merkusii) Menggunakan Citra Sentinel-2 di BKPH Manglayang Timur, KPH Sumedang
Abstract
Pendugaan potensi getah pinus merupakan bagian penting dalam perencanaan pengelolaan hutan pinus. Penginderaan jarak jauh menjadi metode yang memiliki keunggulan dalam efisiensi waktu dan efektivitas biaya. Bagian Kesatuan Pemangkuan Hutan (BKPH) Manglayang Timur merupakan salah satu unit pengelolaan hutan yang memproduksi getah pinus melalui pola agroforestry dengan kopi di kawasan gunung Manglayang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat model peta distribusi spasial tegakan pinus dan melakukan pendugaan potensi getah pinus di BKPH Manglayang Timur menggunakan citra Sentinel-2 tahun 2024. Analisis tutupan lahan yang digunakan menggunakan klasifikasi terbimbing dengan hasil 7 tutupan lahan serta dilakukan ground check. Indeks vegetasi yang digunakan antara lain Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), Green Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (GNDVI), Green Leaf Index (GLI), dan Atmospherically Resistant Vegetation Index (ARVI). Total luas tegakan pinus berdasarkan hasil klasifikasi seluas 1114,17 ha atau 60,48% yang teridentifikasi berdasarkan data Perhutani tahun 2022. Potensi produksi getah pinus di BKPH Manglayang Timur paling tinggi yaitu 936,28 ton/tahun atau 0,86 ton/ha/tahun berdasarkan hasil indeks GNDVI. Potensi getah paling rendah yaitu 649,25 ton/tahun atau 0,59 ton/ha/tahun yang didapatkan dari analisis GLI. Potential estimation of pine resin is a crucial component in pine forest management planning. Remote sensing has become a method with advantages in terms of time efficiency and cost effectiveness. The Forest Management Unit (BKPH) Manglayang Timur is one of the forest management units that produces pine resin through an agroforestry system with coffee cultivation in the Mount Manglayang region. This study aimed to develop a spatial distribution model of pine stands and to estimate the potential pine resin production in BKPH Manglayang Timur using Sentinel-2 imagery acquired in 2024. Land cover analysis was conducted using supervised classification, resulting in seven land cover classes, which were validated through ground checking. The vegetation indices applied in this study included NDVI, GNDVI, GLI, and ARVI. The total area of pine stands identified from the classification was 1114.17 ha, representing approximately 60.48 % of the area reported by Perhutani in 2022. The estimated pine resin production potential in BKPH Manglayang Timur was 936.28 tons/year or 0.86 tons/ha/year based on GNDVI. The lowest pine resin potential is 649.25 tons/year or 0.59 tons/ha/year based on GLI.
