      Abstract
      Salah satu daerah tangkapan air utama yang berkontribusi terhadap sedimentasi Waduk Gajah Mungkur adalah Sub-DAS Keduang. Sub-DAS ini merupakan pemasok sedimen terbesar ke Waduk Gajah Mungkur, dengan kontribusi mencapai sekitar 40% dari total sedimen yang masuk ke waduk. Secara hidrologis, tingginya produksi sedimen di Sub-DAS Keduang berkaitan erat dengan dinamika perubahan penggunaan lahan dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dinamika perubahan lahan serta dampaknya terhadap limpasan permukaan dan laju sedimentasi di Sub-DAS Keduang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pemodelan Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) untuk mengevaluasi kondisi penggunaan lahan tahun 2019 dan 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perubahan penggunaan lahan di Sub-DAS Keduang pada periode 2019–2023, yaitu meningkatnya luasan permukiman (5,3%) dan hutan campuran (0,8%), serta menurunnya luasan semak belukar (14,5%) dan pertanian lahan kering (1,7%). Simulasi model membuktikan bahwa dinamika tutupan lahan tersebut berdampak nyata dalam meningkatkan laju muatan sedimen sebesar 12,7%, dari 333.978,5 ton menjadi 376.151,2 ton. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa degradasi tutupan vegetasi akibat alih fungsi lahan menjadi variabel penentu utama yang meningkatkan kerentanan tanah terhadap erosi.
       
      One of the main catchments that contributes to the sedimentation of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir is the Keduang Sub-watershed. This sub-watershed serves as the largest sediment supplier to the reservoir, with a contribution reaching approximately 40% of the total sediment inflow. Hydrologically, the high sediment yield in the Keduang Sub-watershed closely relates to the land use changes occurring in recent decades. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of land use change and its impact on surface runoff and sedimentation rates in the Keduang Sub-watershed. The method uses the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) modeling to evaluate land use conditions in 2019 and 2023. The results indicate that land use in the Keduang Sub-watershed from 2019 to 2023 undergoes changes, namely an increase in settlement areas (5.3%) and mixed forests (0.8%), as well as a decrease in shrublands (14.5%) and dryland agriculture (1.7%). The model simulation proves that these land cover dynamics significantly increase the sediment yield rate by 12.7%, from 333,978.5 tons to 376,151.2 tons. These findings imply that vegetation cover degradation due to land conversion acts as the primary determining variable that increases soil vulnerability to erosion.
