      Abstract
      PT XYZ menghadapi tantangan overstock pada bahan baku utama akibat kebijakan pengadaan yang bersifat intuitif, sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan biaya penyimpanan dan rendahnya efektivitas gudang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang kebijakan pengendalian persediaan yang optimal dengan meminimalkan total biaya persediaan menggunakan data kuantitatif sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan kapasitas gudang dan meningkatkan inventory turnover. Solusi dirancang melalui siklus Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) dengan mengintegrasikan algoritma Wagner-Whitin dan rasionalisasi safety stock ke dalam modul SAP Materials Management (MM). Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan metode usulan menekan total biaya persediaan dari Rp621.613.313 menjadi Rp363.602.313, atau penghematan sebesar 41,51%. Transformasi kebijakan meningkatkan inventory turnover serta mengoptimalkan utilitas ruang gudang sebesar ±73%. Integrasi sistem pada modul SAP MM dan standardisasi dilakukan agar manajemen rantai pasok menjadi sistematis, dan berbasis data kuantitatif.
       
      PT XYZ faces challenges regarding overstock in it’s main raw material due to intuitive procurement policies, leading to increased holding costs and low warehouse effectiveness. This study aims to design an optimal inventory control policy to minimize total inventory costs through a quantitative approach, optimize warehouse space utulization, and improve inventory turnover. A solution was designed through the PDSA cycle by integrating the Wagner-Whitin algorithm and rationalizing safety stock within the SAP module. Evaluation indicate that the proposed model reduces total inventory costs from IDR 621,613,313 to IDR 363,602,313, or a 41.51% savings. This policy transformation increases inventory turnover and optimizes warehouse space utility by ±73%. System integration within the SAP MM module and the standardization were implemented to establish a systematic, and quantitative data-driven supply chain management.
