dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai dosis dan frekuensi aplikasi pupuk kandang ayam terhadap kadar amilopektin, kadar antosianin, dan produktivitas jagung pulut ungu (Zea mays ceratina). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan IPB Leuwikopo, Dramaga, Bogor, pada bulan Maret hingga Juni 2025, menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dua faktor dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk kandang ayam (10, 20, dan 30 t ha?¹) dengan 0 (kontrol) sebagai pembanding, sedangkan faktor kedua adalah frekuensi aplikasi pupuk yaitu satu kali (semua diaplikasikan dua minggu sebelum tanam) dan dua kali (0.5 dosis pada dua minggu sebelum tanam dan 0.5 dosis pada tiga minggu setelah tanam). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kandang ayam nyata meningkatkan jumlah daun, panjang tongkol, dan panjang tongkol berbiji, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar antosianin, diameter tongkol, dan indeks kehijauan daun. Dosis pupuk nyata meningkatkan kadar amilopektin, dengan nilai tertinggi (71,42 ± 0,16%) pada dosis pupuk kandang ayam 20 t ha?¹. Aplikasi pupuk secara bertahap (dua kali aplikasi) menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan aplikasi satu kali. Interaksi dosis dan frekuensi pupuk kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah daun 6 minggu setelah tanam (MST), jumlah biji perbaris, bobot tongkol perpetak, dan produktivitas. Produktivitas tertinggi (11,03 t ha? ¹) diperoleh pada dosis pupuk kandang ayam 30 t ha? ¹ dengan aplikasi pupuk dua kali. Sehingga direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan serapan hara dan produktivitas jagung pulut ungu dalam sistem budidaya organik.
dc.description.abstractThis study aimed to evaluate the effects of different doses and application frequencies of chicken manure on amylopectin content, anthocyanin content, and productivity of purple waxy corn (Zea mays ceratina). The research was conducted at the IPB Experimental Field, Leuwikopo, Dramaga, Bogor, from March to June 2025, using a two-factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replications. The first factor was the dose of chicken manure (10, 20, and 30 t ha? ¹), with 0 t ha? ¹ (control) as a comparison, while the second factor was the application frequency, consisting of a single application (entire dose applied two weeks before planting) and a split application (50% applied two weeks before planting and 50% applied three weeks after planting). The results showed that chicken manure application significantly increased leaf number, ear length, and kernel-bearing ear length, but had no significant effect on anthocyanin content, ear diameter, and leaf greenness index. Manure dose significantly affected amylopectin content, with the highest value (71.42 ± 0.16%) obtained at a chicken manure dose of 20 t ha? ¹. Split application of chicken manure resulted in better growth and yield compared to a single application. The interaction between manure dose and application frequency significantly affected leaf number at six weeks after planting (WAP), number of kernels per row, ear weight per plot, and productivity. The highest productivity (11.03 t ha? ¹) was achieved with a chicken manure dose of 30 t ha? ¹ applied in two split applications. Therefore, split application of chicken manure at appropriate doses is recommended to enhance nutrient uptake and improve the productivity of purple waxy corn under organic farming systems.
