      Proses Penyuntingan Video Profil Perusahaan Pt Kai Dengan Menggunakan Teknik Continuity Editing Dan Color Grading

      Abstract
      Di era digital saat ini, media audio-visual memiliki peran penting dalam menyampaikan informasi dan membangun komunikasi yang efektif, terutama dalam konteks korporat. Laporan proyek akhir ini membahas proses penyuntingan video profil perusahaan PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta yang dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu pra-produksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengerjaan proyek ini mencakup tiga tahapan produksi media, yaitu praproduksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Tahap penyuntingan menggunakan metode MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) meliputi penyusunan konsep, perancangan, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan, pengujian serta pendistribusian. Fokus utama terletak pada tahap pascaproduksi, yakni proses editing yang mencakup pemilihan footage, pemotongan bagian yang tidak relevan, penambahan efek visual seperti teks dan subtitle, penyelarasan suara dan gambar, serta penambahan elemen pendukung seperti backsound dan transisi untuk meningkatkan kualitas penyajian. Dalam tahap pascaproduksi, teknik continuity editing digunakan untuk menjaga kesinambungan visual antar adegan, sedangkan color grading dan basic correction diterapkan untuk menciptakan keselarasan warna, memperkuat identitas visual perusahaan, serta meningkatkan kualitas estetika video. Proses ini dilakukan secara sistematis, dimulai dari pengumpulan footage, pembuatan proxy footage, penyusunan draf awal, hingga penyempurnaan gambar dan audio menggunakan perangkat lunak penyuntingan. Hasil akhir berupa video berdurasi sekitar 4 menit 30 detik yang menggambarkan citra profesional PT KAI dan dapat digunakan sebagai media komunikasi visual dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada publik. Hasil karya ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam praktik penyuntingan konten informatif di lingkungan instansi pemerintah, khususnya dalam memproduksi video profil yang efektif dalam menyampaikan citra, informasi layanan, serta nilai-nilai perusahaan kepada masyarakat secara visual dan menarik.
       
      In this digital era, audio-visual media has an important role in conveying information and building effective communication, especially in a corporate context. This final project report discusses the editing process of the company profile video of PT KAI Daop 1 Jakarta which was carried out through three main stages, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. The method used in working on this project includes three stages of media production, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. The editing stage uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method, including concept development, design, material collection, production, testing and distribution. The main focus lies in the post-production stage, namely the editing process which includes selecting footage, cutting irrelevant parts, adding visual effects such as text and subtitles, aligning sound and images, and adding supporting elements such as backsound and transitions to improve the quality of presentation. In the post-production stage, continuity editing techniques are used to maintain visual continuity between scenes, while color grading and basic correction are applied to create color harmony, strengthen the company's visual identity, and improve the aesthetic quality of the video. This processis carried outsystematically, starting from collecting footage, creating proxy footage, compiling initial drafts, to perfecting images and audio using editing software. The final result is a video with a duration of about 4 minutes 30 seconds that depicts the professional image of PT KAI and can be used as a visual communication media in conveying information to the public. The results of this work are expected to be a reference in the practice of editing informative content in government agencies, especially in producing profile videos that are effective in conveying the image, service information, and company values to the public in a visual and attractive manner
