      Abstract
The effect of EM4 probiotic application on water quality, growth, and survival of Corydoras panda larvae was evaluated through four treatments: control (without probiotics), P4, P8, and P12, each with three replicates over a four-week period. The P8 treatment showed significantly superior results (p<0,05), with a daily length growth rate of 0,04?±?0,0006?cm day-1, a specific length growth rate of 4,52?±?0,14%n day-1, and an absolute length growth of 1,5?±?0,03?cm. The highest survival rate was also recorded in the P8 treatment at 89,33?±?3,06%. This treatment effectively suppressed ammonia accumulation to 0,069?±?0,001?mg L-1 and maintained water hardness stability below 130?mg L-1. Other parameters such as temperature (25,3–28,5 °C), TDS (150–290?mg L-1), and pH (7,6–8.8) remained within acceptable ranges for larval rearing. The application of EM4, particularly at the P8 dosage, was proven to support optimal growth and high survival rates by enhancing the environmental quality of the aquarium. Keywords: Corydoras panda, EM4, growth, probiotics, water quality
