      Abstract
      Air limbah domestik adalah air limbah yang berasal dari usaha dan atau kegiatan permukiman, rumah makan, perkantoran, perniagaan, apartemen, dan asrama. Keberadaan bakteri coliform pada air limbah yang melebihi ambang batas perlu dilakukan pengolahan lebih lanjut. Tujuan penelitian adalah membuat desain alat untuk efektivitas penurunan kadar total coliform dengan kombinasi fitoremediasi, filtrasi, dan sinar UV (Phyfi-UV). Metode penelitian diawali dengan mengambil sampel air limbah, membuat alat Phyfi-UV, serta melakukan uji laboratorium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan pada kadar total coliform sesudah pengolahan. Hasil penelitian berada di bawah baku mutu yang ditetapkan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan No. 68 Tahun 2016.
       
      Domestic wastewater is wastewater originating from various sources, including businesses, residential activities, restaurants, offices, commercial establishments, apartments, and dormitories. The presence of coliform bacteria in wastewater exceeding the threshold requires further treatment. The objective of this study is to design a device for reducing total coliform levels using a combination of phytoremediation, filtration, and UV light (Phyfi-UV). The research method began with collecting wastewater samples, constructing the Phyfi-UV device, and conducting laboratory tests. The research results showed a reduction in total coliform levels after treatment. The research results fell below the quality standards set by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, as outlined in Regulation No. 68 of 2016.
