dc.description.abstractPerkembangan teknologi digital telah mendorong perusahaan untuk memanfaatkan media visual sebagai alat komunikasi yang efektif. Video company profile menjadi salah satu media penting dalam membangun citra perusahaan. Banyak video perusahaan yang belum optimal secara teknis, terutama dalam penerapan teknik sinematografi. Kondisi ini mendorong penyusunan proyek akhir ini dengan tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana teknik sinematografi dapat diterapkan secara maksimal dalam pembuatan video company profile, khususnya pada Radio Pikiran Rakyat (PRFM). Proyek ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan peran videographer dalam proses produksi video company profile dan menjelaskan penerapan teknik sinematografi dalam produksi video company profile. Proyek ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui lima tahapan produksi video menurut Villamil Molina, yakni development, preproduction, production, postproduction, dan delivery. Fokus utama terletak pada teknik sinematografi seperti camera angle, camera movement, camera shot size, type camera shot framing, camera focus dan pergerakan objek. Hasil dari proyek ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik sinematografi yang tepat mampu memperkuat pesan visual dan meningkatkan kualitas estetika video. Teknik seperti high angle, eye level, dan low angle digunakan untuk menampilkan dinamika ruang dan ekspresi subjek. Gerakan kamera seperti pan, tilt, dan dolly berhasil menciptakan narasi yang lebih dinamis. Selain itu, variasi shot size dan teknik framing mampu memberikan kedalaman visual dan memperkuat karakteristik naratif video. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan teknik sinematografi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan daya tarik visual serta memperkuat pesan komunikasi dalam video company profile. Video yang dihasilkan tidak hanya menampilkan informasi perusahaan, tetapi juga menyampaikan citra profesional dan estetis kepada khalayak. Proyek ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi Radio Pikiran Rakyat dalam strategi komunikasi visualnya serta menambah literatur dalam bidang komunikasi digital dan media.
dc.description.abstractThe development of digital technology has encouraged companies to utilize visual media as an effective communication tool. Company profile videos have become an important medium for building a corporate image. Many corporate videos are technically suboptimal, particularly in the application of cinematography techniques. This situation prompted the development of this final project, which aims to explore how cinematography techniques can be optimally applied in the production of company profile videos, specifically for Radio Pikiran Rakyat (PRFM). This project aims to outline the role of the videographer in the company profile video production process and explain the application of cinematography techniques in company profile video production. This project was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach through the five stages of video production according to Villamil Molina: development, preproduction, production, postproduction, and delivery. The primary focus was on cinematography techniques such as camera angle, camera movement, camera shot size, type of camera shot framing, camera focus, and object movement. The results of this project demonstrate that the appropriate application of cinematography techniques can strengthen the visual message and enhance the aesthetic quality of the video. Techniques such as high angles, eye-level, and low angles were used to convey spatial dynamics and the subject's expression. Camera movements such as pans, tilts, and dolly shots successfully created a more dynamic narrative. Furthermore, varying shot sizes and framing techniques provided visual depth and strengthened the video's narrative. Overall, the application of cinematography techniques proved effective in enhancing visual appeal and reinforcing the communication message in company profile videos. The resulting videos not only displayed company information but also conveyed a professional and aesthetic image to the audience. This project provided a practical contribution to Pikiran Rakyat Radio's visual communication strategy and added to the literature in the field of digital communication and media.
