      ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS MESIN TERMINAL BONDING LINE G2R#4 MENGGUNAKAN METODE OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENESS (OEE) DI PT XYZ

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas mesin Terminal Bonding Line G2R#4 di PT XYZ dengan menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Proses ini melibatkan observasi langsung terhadap operasional mesin, pengumpulan serta pengolahan data dari berbagai sumber seperti wawancara dan laporan harian perusahaan, analisis keandalan menggunakan indikator MTBF, MTTR, dan MDT, evaluasi efektivitas mesin melalui perhitungan OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality), serta identifikasi akar masalah menggunakan analisis RCA (diagram fishbone). Hasil pengukuran terhadap data bulan Juni sampai Desember 2024 menunjukkan nilai rata-rata OEE sebesar 83%, dengan rincian availability sebesar 98%, performance 88%, dan quality 96%. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa mesin mengalami kerusakan rata-rata setiap 17 hari (MTBF), membutuhkan waktu perbaikan sekitar 4,4 jam (MTTR), dan total waktu tidak beroperasi mencapai rata-rata 5,57 jam (MDT). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, penurunan efektivitas mesin Terminal Bonding Line G2R#4 disebabkan oleh permasalahan utama berupa bond less, yakni kegagalan dalam proses pengeleman pada terminal. Masalah ini berdampak pada meningkatnya waktu henti mesin (downtime) serta jumlah produk cacat yang dihasilkan. Melalui analisis akar masalah menggunakan diagram fishbone, diketahui bahwa penyebab utama bond less adalah ketidakteraturan dalam kalibrasi parameter bonding serta penggunaan lem dengan viskositas yang tidak sesuai standar. Selain itu, kurang optimalnya proses pembersihan needle turut memperburuk kondisi tersebut. Sebagai upaya perbaikan, direkomendasikan penyusunan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) untuk pembersihan needle dan kalibrasi rutin.
       
      This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the G2R#4 Terminal Bonding Line machine at PT XYZ using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. This process involves direct observation of machine operations, collection and processing of data from various sources such as interviews and company daily reports, reliability analysis using MTBF, MTTR, and MDT indicators, evaluation of engine effectiveness through OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality) calculations, and identification of root problems using RCA (fishbone diagram) analysis. The results of the measurement of data from June to December 2024 show an average OEE value of 83%, with details of availability of 98%, performance of 88%, and quality of 96%. The results of the analysis showed that the engine suffered an average breakdown every 17 days (MTBF), took about 4,4 hours to repair (MTTR), and the total downtime reached an average of 5,57 hours (MDT). Based on the results of the study, the decrease in the effectiveness of the G2R#4 Terminal Bonding Line machine is caused by the main problem in the form of bond less, namely failure in the gluing process at the terminal. This problem has an impact on increasing machine downtime as well as the number of defective products produced. Through the root of the problem analysis using fishbone diagrams, it is known that the main cause of bond less is irregularities in the calibration of bonding parameters as well as the use of glue with viscosity that is not in accordance with standards. In addition, the lack of optimal needle cleaning process also worsens the condition. As an effort to improve, it is recommended to prepare a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for needle cleaning and routine calibration.
