dc.description.abstractPerkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah cara institusi pendidikan dalam melakukan promosi, termasuk Sekolah Vokasi IPB. Media promosi konvensional seperti leaflet dinilai kurang efektif karena hanya bersifat satu arah, biaya produksi tinggi, dan distribusinya tidak merata ke seluruh sekolah sasaran. Tantangan tersebut mendorong perlunya media promosi digital yang mampu menjangkau audiens secara lebih luas dan komunikatif. Proyek Online Magazine ini menghasilkan media promosi digital berjudul VOKALIS (Vokasi Rilis). Tujuan utama dari proyek ini adalah menjelaskan proses produksi media serta mendeskripsikan implementasi desain interaktif yang diterapkan. Pengembangan dilakukan melalui lima tahap model ADDIE: analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Proyek ini merupakan kolaborasi antara dua anggota tim Branding, Promosi, dan Humas Sekolah Vokasi IPB. Desain dilakukan menggunakan platform Canva, sementara publikasi dilakukan melalui Heyzine sebagai flipbook interaktif. Konten terdiri dari informasi lengkap seputar institusi, program studi, fasilitas, kegiatan mahasiswa, serta jalur pendaftaran dan beasiswa. Fitur interaktif seperti video, audio latar, kuis digital, dan tombol navigasi digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan pengguna. Media ini dirancang agar responsif dan dapat diakses di berbagai perangkat digital. Proyek dilaksanakan di Gedung Komisi Branding, Promosi, dan Humas Sekolah Vokasi IPB di Jl. Lodaya II No.3, Bogor, selama Februari hingga Juni 2025. Hasil dari proyek menunjukkan bahwa media promosi dalam bentuk online magazine interaktif mampu menyampaikan informasi secara visual, terstruktur, dan engaging. Fitur desain interaktif yang diterapkan meningkatkan kenyamanan pembaca serta memperkuat citra Sekolah Vokasi IPB sebagai institusi vokasi yang modern dan informatif. Proyek ini membuktikan bahwa desain interaktif dalam media digital seperti online magazine bisa digunakan sebagai sarana promosi kampus. Strategi ini tidak hanya menyampaikan informasi secara lengkap, tetapi juga meningkatkan pengalaman eksploratif audiens. Saran untuk adanya pembaruan konten secara berkala dan pengembangan fitur interaktif tambahan seperti infografis dinamis dan chatbot ringan disarankan agar media ini tetap relevan dan berdaya jangkau tinggi.
dc.description.abstractThe development of digital technology has changed the way educational institutions promote themselves, including the IPB Vocational School. Conventional promotional media such as leaflets are considered ineffective due to their one-way nature, high production costs, and uneven distribution across target schools. These challenges have driven the need for digital promotional media capable of reaching a wider and more communicative audience. This Online Magazine project produced a digital promotional media titled VOKALIS (Vokasi Rilis). The main objective of this project was to explain the media production process and describe the implementation of the interactive design. Development followed the five-stage ADDIE model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This project was a collaboration between two members of the Branding, Promotion, and Public Relations teams of the IPB Vocational School. The design was done using the Canva platform, while publication was done through Heyzine as an interactive flipbook. The content consisted of comprehensive information about the institution, study programs, facilities, student activities, as well as registration and scholarship pathways. Interactive features such as video, background audio, digital quizzes, and navigation buttons were used to increase user engagement. This media is designed to be responsive and accessible on various digital devices. The project was implemented at the Branding, Promotion, and Public Relations Commission Building of the IPB Vocational School on Jl. Lodaya II No. 3, Bogor, from February to June 2025. The project results demonstrated that the promotional media, in the form of an interactive online magazine, is capable of conveying information in a visual, structured, and engaging manner. The interactive design features implemented enhance reader comfort and strengthen the image of the IPB Vocational School as a modern and informative vocational institution. This project demonstrates that interactive design in digital media, such as online magazines, can be used as a means of campus promotion. This strategy not only conveys comprehensive information but also enhances the audience's exploratory experience. Suggestions for regular content updates and the development of additional interactive features, such as dynamic infographics and lightweight chatbots, are recommended to maintain this media's relevance and high reach.
