| dc.description.abstract | Pengangguran dan kesiapan kerja lulusan perguruan tinggi menjadi isu penting di Indonesia, dengan sekitar 4,91 persen dari 152 juta angkatan kerja yang tercatat menganggur pada Agustus 2024. Kesenjangan keterampilan dan kurangnya panduan terpadu dalam persiapan magang menjadi kendala bagi mahasiswa, khususnya Program Studi Komunikasi Digital dan Media (KMN) IPB University. Survei internal mengungkapkan bahwa mahasiswa KMN membutuhkan panduan lengkap yang memudahkan akses informasi dan mencakup berbagai aspek persiapan magang, mulai dari administrasi hingga soft skills.
Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul Panduan Magang Komprehensif berbasis digital yang mengintegrasikan seluruh aspek penting magang dalam satu format digital berbasis self-paced learning. Modul dirancang untuk menyediakan panduan yang terstruktur dan komprehensif, memudahkan mahasiswa untuk mengakses informasi yang relevan tanpa perlu mencari dari berbagai sumber. Pengembangan modul menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan survei, studi literatur, serta teknik pengembangan berbasis model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan Agile Development untuk memastikan relevansi dan fleksibilitas.
Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei kuantitatif kepada 91 mahasiswa sebagai sampel representatif. Evaluasi uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa 98 persen responden menilai isi modul relevan dan mendalam, sementara 100 persen menyatakan modul layak untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut. Responden juga memuji kemudahan akses modul melalui platform digital seperti Google Drive, WhatsApp, dan Instagram, serta desain visual yang mendukung kenyamanan membaca. Proyek dilaksanakan di Kampus Sekolah Vokasi IPB University, yang berlokasi di Jl. Kumbang No.14, RT.02/RW.06, Babakan, Kecamatan Bogor Tengah, Kota Bogor, Jawa Barat 16128, mulai 17 Februari 2025 hingga 15 Mei 2025.
Modul terdiri dari tiga bab utama: Pra-Magang, Magang, dan Pasca-Magang, dilengkapi dengan alat bantu seperti checklist, template, worksheet, studi kasus, dan senior tips. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pengembangan modul mengutamakan fleksibilitas dan kemudahan akses bagi mahasiswa, dengan fokus pada pembelajaran mandiri dan aplikatif. Proyek ini juga mengintegrasikan umpan balik dari mahasiswa untuk terus menyempurnakan modul agar memenuhi kebutuhan mereka secara optimal. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, modul berhasil mengintegrasikan seluruh aspek penting magang, namun disarankan untuk mengembangkan fitur interaktif, seperti aplikasi mobile dan integrasi dengan LMS, serta melakukan evaluasi lebih lanjut dan pembaruan materi agar tetap relevan dengan perkembangan industri. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Unemployment and graduate employability remain critical issues in Indonesia, with approximately 4.91 percent of the 152 million labor force recorded as unemployed as of August 2024. Skill gaps and the lack of an integrated internship preparation guide present challenges for students, especially those from the Communication and Digital Media (KMN) Study Program at IPB University. An internal survey revealed that KMN students require a comprehensive guide that facilitates easy access to information and covers various aspects of internship preparation, from administrative procedures to soft skills development.
This project aims to develop a Comprehensive Digital Internship Guide that integrates all essential internship aspects into a self-paced learning digital format. The module is designed to provide a structured and detailed guide, enabling students to access relevant information without the need to consult multiple sources. The development process adopted a qualitative research approach, utilizing surveys, literature studies, and development techniques based on the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) combined with Agile Development to ensure relevance and flexibility.
Data collection was conducted through a quantitative survey involving 91 students as a representative sample. Feasibility test evaluations showed that 98 percent of respondents rated the module content as relevant and in-depth, while 100 percent stated that the module was suitable for further development. Respondents also praised the ease of access via digital platforms such as Google Drive, WhatsApp, and Instagram, as well as the visually engaging design that supports reading comfort. The project was implemented at the Vocational School Campus of IPB University, located at Jl. Kumbang No.14, RT.02/RW.06, Babakan, Bogor Tengah District, Bogor City, West Java 16128, from February 17, 2025, to May 15, 2025.
The module consists of three main chapters: Pre-Internship, During Internship, and Post-Internship, supplemented with tools such as checklists, templates, worksheets, case studies, and senior tips. The development approach prioritized flexibility and accessibility, focusing on self-directed and applicable learning for students. The project also incorporated student feedback to continuously refine the module to meet their needs optimally. Based on the evaluation results, the module successfully integrated all critical internship aspects. However, further recommendations include developing interactive features such as a mobile application and LMS integration, as well as conducting ongoing evaluations and content updates to stay aligned with industry developments. | |
