dc.description.abstractKomunikasi internal memegang peran penting dalam penyampaian informasi di lingkungan organisasi. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. menghadapi tantangan dalam penyebaran dokumen kebijakan yang tidak terpusat dan sulit diakses. Untuk menjawab tantangan ini, BRI mengembangkan BRIPedia, sebuah platform digital yang menyajikan informasi kebijakan dan prosedur dalam berbagai format, seperti teks, video, podcast, dan infografis. Namun, hingga tahun 2024, belum dilakukan evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap efektivitas BRIPedia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas BRIPedia dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi karyawan serta merumuskan strategi pengembangannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 193 karyawan pengguna BRIPedia. Instrumen penelitian didasarkan pada indikator efektivitas komunikasi (Hardjana) dan teori kebutuhan informasi (Guha). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas BRIPedia berkorelasi signifikan dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi karyawan. Namun, frekuensi akses platform masih tergolong rendah. Disarankan agar BRI memperkuat strategi komunikasi internal dan meningkatkan fitur interaktif BRIPedia. Penelitian lanjutan direkomendasikan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif atau campuran untuk eksplorasi lebih dalam.
dc.description.abstractInternal communication played a critical role in ensuring effective information delivery within organizations. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. encountered challenges in disseminating policy documents that were previously scattered and difficult to access. To address this issue, BRI developed BRIPedia, a digital platform designed to provide employees with access to policy and procedural information in various formats such as text, videos, podcasts, and infographics. However, until 2024, no comprehensive evaluation had been conducted to assess the effectiveness of BRIPedia. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of BRIPedia in fulfilling employees' information needs and to formulate relevant development strategies. A quantitative approach was used, involving the distribution of questionnaires to 193 employees who had accessed BRIPedia. The research instrument was based on communication effectiveness indicators (Hardjana) and information need theory (Guha). The results showed a significant correlation between the effectiveness of BRIPedia and the fulfillment of employees’ information needs. However, the frequency of access remained relatively low. It was recommended that BRI enhance its internal communication strategies and improve BRIPedia’s interactive features. Future research was suggested to adopt qualitative or mixed-method approaches to explore user perceptions more deeply.
