      Penambahan Astaxanthin terhadap Performansi Warna Ikan Mas Koki Ranchu Carassius auratus

      Abstract
      Ikan mas koki ranchu merupakan ikan hias yang memiliki nilai estetika tinggi karena kecerahan warna tubuh. Masalah budidaya sering ditemukan berupa penurunan kecerahan warna sehingga menurunkan daya tarik dan harga jual. Pemberian astaxanthin yang mengandung zat karotenoid dapat memicu peningkatan kecerahan warna melalui penambahan pada pakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis terbaik dan efektivitas dari penggunaan astaxanthin yang dicampurkan pada pakan. Metode menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan 3 ulangan, yaitu perlakuan AX0 sebagai kontrol tanpa penambahan astaxanthin, perlakuan AX2 dosis astaxanthin 2 g/kg, perlakuan AX3 dosis astaxanthin 3 g/kg dan perlakuan AX4 dosis astaxanthin 4 g/kg. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan astaxanthin kedalam pakan buatan signifikan pada peningkatan kecerahan warna tubuh ikan mas koki ranchu. Dosis terbaik ditemukan pada perlakuan AX3 dosis 3 g/kg pakan memberikan kecerahan warna mencapai 19,82.
       
      Ranchu goldfish is an ornamental fish that has high aesthetic value due to the brightness of the body color. Cultivation problems are often found in the form of a decrease in color brightness, thereby reducing attractiveness and selling prices. Giving astaxanthin, which contains carotenoid substances can trigger an increase in color brightness through the addition of feed. This study aims to determine the optimal dose and effectiveness of using astaxanthin in feed. The method used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments 3 replicates, namely treatment AX0 as control without the addition of astaxanthin, treatment AX2 astaxanthin dose 2 g/kg, treatment AX3 astaxanthin dose 3 g/kg and treatment AX4 astaxanthin dose 4 g/kg. The results showed that the addition of astaxanthin into artificial feed was significant in increasing the brightness of the body color of ranchu goldfish. The best dose was found in the treatment AX3 dose of 3 g/kg of feed gave a color brightness of 19.82.
