dc.description.abstractKemajuan teknologi informasi telah memberikan dampak besar pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pengelolaan fasilitas pendidikan. Salah satu fasilitas yang sering digunakan di kampus adalah gymnasium. Di Sekolah Vokasi IPB University, gymnasium memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang kegiatan olahraga dan kemahasiswaan. Namun, saat ini pengelolaan gymnasium menghadapi sejumlah masalah yang perlu segera diatasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas penggunaannya. Pencatatan peminjaman gymnasium masih dilakukan secara manual menggunakan metode konvensional, yang berpotensi menimbulkan kesalahan manusia, seperti kehilangan atau rusaknya dokumen, serta memakan waktu lebih lama dalam proses pencatatan dan pencarian data. Selain itu, data peminjaman belum terintegrasi dengan baik, yang sering menyebabkan bentrokan jadwal penggunaan fasilitas. Pengembangan sistem informasi peminjaman gymnasium ini menggunakan metode prototype, serta analisis kepuasan pengguna dengan metode PIECES. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan kualitas pelayanan dan pemanfaatan gymnasium akan meningkat.
dc.description.abstractThe advancement of information technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the management of educational facilities. One of the frequently used facilities on campus is the gymnasium. At the Vocational School of IPB University, the gymnasium plays an important role in supporting sports and student activities. However, the current management of the gymnasium faces several issues that need to be addressed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its use. The gymnasium loan recording is still done manually using conventional methods, which may lead to human errors, such as document loss or damage, and it also takes longer to record and retrieve data. Additionally, the loan data is not well-integrated, often causing scheduling conflicts in the use of the facility. The development of this gymnasium loan information system uses the prototype method, along with a user satisfaction analysis through the PIECES method. This system is expected to improve the quality of service and gymnasium utilization.
