Abstract

AKHMAD MAULANA. Teknik Editing dalam Produksi Film Dokumenter “Binar Bestari” di Pondok Pesantren Daarul Rahman. Dibimbing oleh SUTISNA RIYANTO. Pondok Pesantren Daarul Rahman memiliki keunikan pada kurikulum yang diterapkan berbeda dengan kurikulum pesantren lain, dimana terdapat dua metode pembelajaran modern dan tradisional yang menjadi daya tarik pondok pesantren ini. Keunikan yang dimiliki tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai sebuah saranan promosi yang dikemas dalam bentuk film dokumenter. Tujuan proyek akhir ini adalah untuk menjelaskan, mempromosikan dan mengedukasi tentang informasi mengenai Pondok Pesantren Daarul Rahman dan menjelaskan tenik editing dalam pembuatan film dokumenter yang berjudul “BINAR BESTARI”. Proyek akhir ini dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Daarul Rahman yang terletak di Jalan Purwa Raya 1, Cipedak, Jagakarsa, Jakarta Selatan. Proses editing dalam pembuatan film ini dilakukan melalui tahapan acquisition, organization, review and selection, assembly, rought cut, fine cut, picture lock, finishing, Mastering and Delivery. Beberapa teknik editing yang dilakukan meliputi teknik editing cutting dan transisi meliputi cut (hard cut), dissolve, wipe, fade in, fade out, j-cut, l-cut, match cut, color correction, color grading, sound effect dan visual effect untuk menghasilkan visual menarik perhatian audience.

The Daarul Rahman Islamic Boarding School is unique in that the curriculum applied is different from other Islamic boarding school curricula, where there are two modern and traditional learning methods which are the attraction of this Islamic boarding school. This uniqueness can be used as a promotional tool packaged in the form of a documentary film. The aim of this final project is to explain, promote and educate about information about the Daarul Rahman Islamic Boarding School and explain editing techniques in making a documentary film entitled "BINAR BESTARI". This final project was carried out at the Daarul Rahman Islamic Boarding School which is located on Jalan Purwa Raya 1, Cipedak, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. The editing process in making this film was carried out through the stages of acquisition, organization, review and selection, assembly, rough cut, fine cut, picture lock, finishing, Mastering and Delivery. Some of the editing techniques used include cutting and transition editing techniques including cut (hard cut), dissolve, wipe, fade in, fade out, j-cut, l-cut, match cut, color correction, color grading, sound effects and visual effects are carried out to produce visuals and attract the attention of the audience.
