      Abstract

Climate change is now recognized as the most pressing global issue, posing a threat to food security, particularly in the aquaculture industry. Grouper (Epinephelussp.) is extensively farmed in Indonesia using floating net cages (KJA). However, climate change presents a significant risk to grouper farming. One proposed approach to tackle this challenge is to mitigate the effects of climate change on grouper aquaculture. This final assignment aims to obtain the best mitigation strategy for weather changes in grouper fish farming. This study was carried out in Pulau Panggang, Thousand Islands, Jakarta. Data was gathered directly from the field and analyzed using SWOT analysis, Internal-External Matrix, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The strategies identified include the necessity for the government to establish policies and raise awareness about the importance of monitoring water health and quality, which significantly impacts the outcome of aquaculture activities. Farmers need to keep pace with technological advancements to early detect disasters, uphold product quality throughout specific seasons to ensure steady stock levels and market presence, diversify products into processed goods, and maintain product quality, particularly by ensuring the survival rate of the fish sold.
