      Abstract

Tilapia Oreochromis niloticus is one of the freshwater fish that is easy to cultivate and is superior because it has a high selling value. Probiotics are living microorganisms that when given in sufficient quantities can have a positive impact on their hosts. The probiotics used in this study were commercial probiotics containing probiotic bacteria Bacillus subtilis, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, and Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Probiotics were applied to feed using the coating method with a dose of 15 mL kg-1 of feed for commercial probiotic A and 2 mL kg-1 of feed for commercial probiotic B. The purpose of implementing final project activity is to obtain the best commercial probiotic products and their combinations to improve the growth performance of tilapia fry in cultivation activities. Commercial probiotics that showed superior results on tilapia growth were commercial probiotics B with an absolute weight growth value of 7,4 g, absolute length growth of 3,5 cm, SGR 4,3% day-1 , with the resulting survival rate of 90%. The conclusion of this final project is that commercial probiotic product B is the best commercial probiotic product.
