Pendampingan Santri Vokasi Terhadap Ketersediaan Sumberdaya Manusia Dalam Budidaya Komoditas Kambing di Ponpes Al-Islam
Abstract
Pondok Pesantren Al-Islam merupakan salah satu pesantren yang mendapatkan program atau binaan dari PT Adaro Indonesia melalui Program Adaro Santri Sejahtera (PASS) yang mengembangkan unit usaha peternakan pada komoditas kambing. Kegiatan unit usaha budidaya kambing di Pondok Pesantren Al-Islam dilakukan oleh Kelompok Kerja (pokja) peternakan yang merupakan santri yang sudah lulus atau lebih dikenal sebagai santri pengabdian.Jumlah anggota pokja peternakan sebanyak 3 orang dan dibantu oleh 3 santri vokasi, hal tersebut menjadi permasalah utama adanya keterbatasan sumberdaya manusia sehingga belum bisa meningkatkan produktivitas peternakan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Islam dengan kapasitas jumlah kambing sebanyak 18 ekor. Permasalahan kedua yaitu proses unit usaha budidaya peternakan yang belum dilakukan secara maksimal dalam kegiatan budidaya hariannya. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka diperlukan suatu pendampingan dan transfer teknologi yang bisa menarik perhatian santri vokasi sebagai ketersediaan sumberdaya manusia. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui pengetahuan santri vokasi proses pendampingan dan transfer teknologi, penyebab terjadinya keterbatasan sumberdaya manusia serta permasalahan selama proses kegiatan unit usaha budidaya kambing dan pendampingan apa saja yang dapat meningkatkan sumberdaya manusia dalam kegiatan unit usaha budidaya kambing. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), penelusuran sejarah, analisis pohon masalah, pre test dan post test. Hasil fasilitasi melalui pendampingan dan transfer teknologi mampu mengubah ketrampilan pokja peternakan dan santri vokasi salah satunya seperti tepat waktu dalam pemberian pakan sehingga dapat bertanggung jawab pada peran dan tugas selama kegiatan unit usaha budidaya peternakan di Pondok Pesantren Al-Islam. The second problem is the process of the livestock cultivation business unit which has not been carried out optimally in its daily cultivation activities. In connection with this, it is necessary to provide assistance and transfer technology that can attract the
attention of vocational students as the availability of human resources. The purpose of the study was to determine the knowledge of vocational students in the process of mentoring and technology transfer, the causes of limited human resources and problems during the process of goat cultivation business unit activities and what assistance can improve human resources in goat cultivation business unit activities. Data were collected through interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), history tracing, problem tree analysis, pre and post test. The results of facilitation through mentoring and technology transfer were able to change the skills of the livestock working group and vocational students, one of which was on time in feeding so that they could be responsible for their roles and duties during the activities of the livestock cultivation business unit at Al-Islam Islamic Boarding School.
