Ketertarikan Penggunaan Pupuk Organik untuk Mengatasi Pembatasan Pupuk Subsidi melalui Kegiatan Sosialisasi (Kasus: Gapoktan Subur Makmur Desa Ciherang Kecamatan Dramaga Kabupaten Bogor)
Abstract
Sosialisasi meliputi pemaparan materi,
diskusi, tanya jawab dan pengisian kuesioner. Karakteristik responden berumur
produktif (70%), mayoritas perempuan (57%), tingkat pendidikan rendah (70%),
tingkat pengalaman bertani sedang (50%) dan memiliki lahan sempit (74%).
Analisis kuesioner menunjukkan ketertarikan tinggi (97,33%) terhadap pupuk
organik.
The decrease in chemical fertilizer subsidies in Indonesia has encouraged
farmers in Ciherang Village to seek alternative organic fertilizers to maintain crop
productivity. This study aims to introduce organic fertilizers through socialization,
identify farmer characteristics, measure interest and analyze the relationship
between farmer characteristics and interest in organic fertilizers. The mixed method
approach method with a sample of 30 respondents was analyzed using percentage
techniques and pearson correlation tests. Socialization includes material
presentation, discussion, questions and answers and filling out questionnaires. The
characteristics of respondents are of productive age (70%), the majority are women
(57%), low education level (70%), moderate farming experience level (50%) and
have small land (74%). Questionnaire analysis showed high interest (97,33%) in
organic fertilizers. Relationship between interest and age and farming experience
decreasing, but increasing with land area and education. This study are important
to increase the adoption of organic fertilizers in overcoming the limitations of
subsidized fertilizers.
