      Abstract
      Videografer mempunyai peranan penting dalam proses pembuatan sebuah video iklan. Videografer mempunyai peran sebagai seseorang yang bertanggung jawab baik teknis maupun non teknis dalam proses pengambilan. Penyampaian pesan dalam setiap gambar dapat tersampaikan dengan baik kepada penonton dengan menerapkan teknik sinematografi. Teknik sinematografi merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari tentang teknik pengambilan gambar. Videografer harus memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang teknik sinematografi seperti komposisi gambar, framing, camera movement, camera angle, tatacahaya, dan continuity agar tercipta sebuah komunikasi visual yang baik. Perpaduan antara teknik sinematografi dan pemahaman alat yang digunakan untuk mengambil gambar serta kreativitas videografer sendiri akan membuahkan hasil akhir yang diinginkan.
       
      Videographers have an important role in the process of making an advertising video. The videographer has a role as someone who is responsible both technically and non-technically in the shooting process. The message in each image can be conveyed well to the audience by applying cinematography techniques. Cinematography technique is a science that studies shooting techniques. Videographers must have knowledge and understanding of cinematography techniques such as image composition, framing, camera movement, camera angles, lighting and continuity in order to create good visual communication. A combination of cinematography techniques and understanding of the tools used to take pictures as well as the videographer's own creativity will produce the desired final result.
