      Abstract

The hazardous waste (B3) storage system at the Vocational School of IPB can be considered inadequate and unstructured. Hazardous waste often gets mixed with other types of waste due to insufficient separation, leading to significant environmental and health risks. This research aims to develop technical details for hazardous waste storage that comply with regulations. The methods used include descriptive analysis based on secondary data from literature and applicable regulations, as well as direct field observations. The research findings indicate that the hazardous waste generated includes used chemical solutions, used oil, diesel residue waste, used lamps, used batteries, infectious waste, expired medications, electronic waste, and used hazardous waste packaging. The technical details developed cover waste classification, TPS (Temporary Storage Facility) design, temporary storage procedures, as well as the preparation and submission of hazardous waste storage reports. Implementing these technical details is expected to increase awareness and compliance with hazardous waste management, as well as minimize the negative impacts on the environment and human health at the vocational school.
