      Abstract
PURI ADHA KHAIRANA.

PURI ADHA KHAIRANA. Dosage Optimization of Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) in Precast Concrete Industrial Liquid Waste. Supervised by NURUL JANNAH. The reuse of wastewater from tanks used for tool washing often leaves white particles behind. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of the addition of PAC coagulant on TSS, turbidity, pH, and color parameters in concrete industrial wastewater and to determine the optimum dose of PAC as a coagulant in the formation of flocs in the sedimentation process based on SNI 19-6449-2000. The research was carried out on a laboratory scale using the jartes method with a flocculator, to determine the optimal dose of precast concrete industrial wastewater. The results of testing the parameters of TSS, turbidity, pH and color after adding PAC 1 ml consecutively of 6 mg/L; 0.58 NTU; 7,74 ; and 3.1 Pt.CO. The test results of TSS parameters, turbidity, pH and color after adding PAC of 10 ml consecutively of 16 mg/L; 3.7 NTU; 7,4 ; 18.33 Pt.CO. The percentage reduction of the six doses in TSS and turbidity parameters has met the criteria, which is greater than 80%, is included in the very effective criteria based on the effectiveness calculation, while the percentage reduction of the addition of 10 ml of PAC in the pH and color parameters is included in the criteria of 40% < X = 60%, which is quite effective.
