Pendampingan Perencanaan Usaha Produksi DOC Ayam Kampung Unggul Balitbangtan (KUB) (Kaji Kasus: Desa Masingai II)

Abstract

Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan karakteristik peternak, menguraikan upaya perencanaan usaha produksi Day Old Chick (DOC) ayam KUB yang telah dilakukan oleh peternak, merekomendasikan Business Model Canvas (BMC) dan analisis usaha produksi DOC ayam KUB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix method dengan model concurrent embedded of mix method (campuran tidak berimbang). Pada penyusunan proyek akhir ini, metode kualitatif merupakan metode yang memiliki persentase penggunaan yang lebih tinggi daripada metode kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), dan studi data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas penanggung jawab kegiatan ternak adalah suami yang merupakan penanggungjawab utama dalam kegiatan budidaya ayam KUB. Umur peternak berada pada usia produktif. Tingkat pendidikan formal berada pada kategori menengah (SMA). Pekerjaan utama peternak adalah petani karet dengan pendapatan kurang dari Upah Minimum Kabupaten (UMK) Tabalong. Upaya perencanaan usaha produksi DOC ayam KUB di Desa Masingai II mencangkup pelatihan manajemen penetasan dan produksi DOC ayam KUB, pelatihan dan praktik pembuatan mesin tetas otomatis, dan FGD pengembangan usaha produksi DOC ayam KUB. Rekomendasi BMC memuat sembilan elemen utama yang terdiri dari customer segments, value prepositions, channel, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resource, key activities, key partnerships, dan cost structure. Analisis usaha menunjukkan bahwa produksi DOC ayam KUB memiliki potensi keuntungan jika dikelola dengan baik.

The research method used is a mixed method with a concurrent model embedded in mixed methods (unbalanced mixture). In preparing this final project, the qualitative method is a method that has a higher percentage of use than quantitative methods. Data was collected using questionnaires, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and secondary data studies. The research results show that the majority of people responsible for livestock activities are husbands who are the main person responsible for KUB chicken cultivation activities. The breeder is of productive age. The level of formal education is in the middle category (Senior High School). The main occupation of breeders is rubber farmers with an income of less than the minimum wage of Tabalong Regency. Efforts to plan the KUB chicken DOC production business in Masingai II Village include training on hatching management and KUB chicken DOC production, training and practice in making automatic hatching machines, and FGDs on developing the KUB chicken DOC production business. BMC recommendations contain nine main elements consisting of customer segments, value prepositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structure. Business analysis shows that KUB chicken DOC production has profit potential if managed well.
