      Abstract

Hydroponics, a method of cultivating plants without soil media, is gaining popularity due to the flexibility of its placement. The most important hydroponic system is water, but in addition to water there are nutrients that play an important role in plant growth. However, stability is affected by water temperature and electrical conductivity. The Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system plays a crucial role in hydroponics, serving as the primary mechanism for efficiently distributing water and plant nutrients. One of the plants that can be grown in a hydroponic system is spinach. Spinach plants grow well if given optimal nutrition. This study aims to analyze the measurable variation of nutrient values from the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) sensor and determine the optimal nutrient value to increase the growth of spinach hydroponic plants. The method used to analyze the data is fuzzy logic with Sugeno's approach. The system developed was tested using MATLAB software, resulting in an error value of 0,76% in the output with an accuracy of 99,24%. The results of this research are expected to contribute to the development of a more efficient and productive hydroponic system.
