Penulisan Naskah Film Dokumenter Tradisi Ogoh-ogoh "Benda Mati Penuh Arti"

Abstract

Kelompok pemuda Sekaa Teruna Teruni (STT) Dwi Putra, Banjar Tegal Agung, Bali memanfaatkan Ogoh-ogoh sebagai media komunikasi untuk memberikan kritik dan edukasi kepada masyarakat. Penyebarluasan informasi tersebut didukung dengan media komunikasi yang tepat sehingga pesan tersampaikan secara efektif. Film dokumenter “Benda Mati Penuh Arti” menerapkan model alur produksi yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu tahap riset, pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Film dokumenter yang bersifat naratif, membutuhkan peran seorang penulis naskah atau script writer yang bertanggung jawab pada narasi film tersebut. Script writer menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dalam penulisan naskah pada karya film dokumenter tradisi Ogoh-ogoh “Benda Mati Penuh Arti”. Tujuan dari penulisan makalah proyek akhir yaitu untuk menjelaskan tahapan penyusunan naskah pada film dokumenter tradisi Ogoh-ogoh “Benda Mati Penuh Arti”. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penyusunan makalah proyek akhir terdiri dari empat cara, yaitu observasi, partisipasi aktif, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Hasil dari proyek akhir ini adalah terciptanya film dokumenter tradisi Ogoh-ogoh “Benda Mati Penuh Arti” dengan menerapkan rangkaian proses penyusunan premis, sinopsis, dan treatment script dalam penyusunan naskahnya.

The dissemination of information is supported by the right communication media so that the message is conveyed effectively. The documentary film " Benda Mati Penuh Arti" applies a production flow model consisting of four stages, which are research, pre-production, production, and post-production stages. Documentary films that are based on narrative require the role of a script writer who is responsible for writing the script's narrative. The script writer uses a descriptive approach in writing the script for the Ogoh-ogoh tradition documentary "Benda Mati Penuh Arti". The purpose of writing the final project paper is to explain the stages of scriptwriting in the Ogoh-ogoh tradition documentary "Benda Mati Penuh Arti". The data collection techniques used in the preparation of the final project paper consisted of four methods, including observation, active participation, interviews, and literature study. The result of this final project is the creation of the Ogoh-ogoh tradition documentary film "Benda Mati Penuh Arti" by applying a series of processes in the preparation of the premise, synopsis, and treatment script in writing the script.
