      Abstract

Nutrients in hydroponic systems must be carefully controlled and delivered in the right concentration to ensure optimal plant growth. Appropriate nutrient delivery will allow plants to take up nutrients well, avoid nutrient deficiency or excess problems, and prioritize healthy growth and good production results in hydroponic cultivation. The purpose of this research is to design and test the performance of the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) value monitoring system and nutrient discharge and test the performance of the nutrient dosage control system in the NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) hydroponic system. Nutrient needs are regulated depending on the level of growth such as vegetative, generative, and harvest phases. It is necessary to monitor the increase in nutrient values each time the dose is given so as not to result in the use of excessive doses. Based on the results of this research in the form of a control system that has been made, the system test data with the results of linear regression analysis has a correlation coefficient value of 82% which states that the dose of nutrients greatly affects the increase in the value of nutrients in hydroponic plants and 18% is influenced by other factors.
