| dc.description.abstract | IDXchannel.com adalah platform berita online yang fokus pada ekonomi
Indonesia dan sering mengulas berita terkait suku bunga The Fed. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara framing berita dari IDXchannel.com. Penelitian
dari Februari hingga Mei 2024 menunjukkan bahwa IDXchannel.com
menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis framing untuk
memahami cara presentasi berita kepada khalayak. Berlokasi di Jakarta Pusat,
IDXchannel.com menerapkan teori framing Robert N. Entman (1993) dalam
menyusun berita untuk memengaruhi persepsi masyarakat. Berita IDXchannel.com
fokus pada ketidakpastian mengenai kebijakan suku bunga The Fed yang belum
menunjukkan penurunan, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran akan pentingnya
penurunan suku bunga untuk ekonomi Indonesia. IDXchannel.com tidak hanya
menyajikan informasi, tetapi juga berperan dalam membentuk opini publik
terhadap kebijakan ekonomi global yang berdampak langsung pada Indonesia. | |
| dc.description.abstract | IDXchannel.com is an online news platform that focuses on the Indonesian
economy and often reviews news related to the Fed's interest rates. This research
aims to find out how to frame news from IDXchannel.com. Research from February
to May 2024 shows that IDXchannel.com uses qualitative descriptive methods with
framing analysis to understand how news is presented to the audience. Located in
Central Jakarta, IDXchannel.com applies Robert N. Entman's (1993) framing
theory in compiling news to influence public perception. IDXchannel.com news
focuses on uncertainty regarding the Fed's interest rate policy which has not yet
shown a reduction, with the aim of increasing awareness of the importance of
reducing interest rates for the Indonesian economy. IDXchannel.com not only
provides information, but also plays a role in shaping public opinion regarding
global economic policies that have a direct impact on Indonesia. | |
