      Optimalisasi Jumlah Tenaga Kerja Berdasarkan Tingkat Beban Kerja Mental pada Staf Gudang dengan Metode NASA-TLX di PT XYZ

      Abstract
      PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada tiga unit bisnis yaitu karoseri, fabrikasi, dan assembly dengan sistem produksi make to order. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan membutuhkan kecepatan dan ketepatan pada kegiatan produksi yang dapat didukung dengan kegiatan pergudangan yang cepat dan terorganisir. Staf gudang di PT XYZ memiliki pekerjaan yang bervariatif dengan jumlah tenaga kerja yang sedikit, sehingga tingkat beban kerja mental tinggi hingga menimbulkan kelelahan. Diperlukan adanya evaluasi jumlah tenaga kerja untuk mengetahui jumlah tenaga kerja optimal dan mengatasi terjadinya kelelahan. Perhitungan beban kerja mental dilakukan dengan pendekatan subjektif menggunakan metode NASA-TLX dengan hasil nilai rata-rata WWL staf gudang di PT XYZ sebesar 75,6 (Tinggi). Setelahnya dilakukan simulasi penambahan tenaga kerja sebanyak satu orang, dua orang, dan tiga orang yang ternyata menghasilkan dampak signifikan untuk menurunkan tingkat beban kerja mental staf gudang. Adapun saran lain yang yang dapat dilakukan yaitu penambahan alat penanganan bahan otomatis, penambahan alat transportasi, dan diterapkannya sistem komputasi pada kegiatan pekerjaan.
       
      PT XYZ is a company operating in three business units: body manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly, with a make-to-order production system. Therefore, the company requires speed and accuracy in production activities, which can be supported by fast and organized warehousing operations. The warehouse staff at PT XYZ have a variety of tasks, but the workforce is limited, resulting in a high level of mental workload and fatigue. An evaluation of the workforce is necessary to determine the optimal number of workers and address fatigue. The mental workload calculation was performed using the subjective NASA-TLX method, yielding an average WWL score of 75.6 (High) for the warehouse staff at PT XYZ. Subsequently, simulations were conducted by adding one, two, and three staff workers, which significantly reduced the mental workload of the warehouse staff. Other recommendations include adding automatic material handling equipment, additional transportation tools, and implementing a computerized system for work activities.
