Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Minat Penonton pada Program iNews Files di iNews TV

Abstract

Salah satu media informasi yang masih dipertahankan sampai saat ini oleh masyarakat, yaitu televisi, namun ditemukan bahwa jumlah penonton ternyata tidak menunjukan angka yang stabil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pola menonton pada stasiun televisi iNews serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat penonton pada program iNews Files di iNews TV. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data yang dikumpulkan untuk penelitian ini yaitu diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam dengan tim produksi iNews Files, distribusi kuesioner, data demografi penonton iNews Files, serta karya ilmiah yang relevan terhadap penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa penonton iNews TV masih memilih televisi sebagai media yang dipercaya untuk memperoleh informasi, meskipun hanya disaksikan penonton saat memiliki waktu senggang dari aktivitasnya sehari-hari, dengan program yang paling disukai yaitu berita. Selanjutnya, data menggambarkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi minat penonton pada program iNews Files terdapat lima, yaitu program acara, minat informasi, minat identitas pribadi, minat integrasi dan interaksi sosial, serta minat hiburan.

One of the information media that is still maintained by the public is television, but it was found that the number of viewers did not show a stable number. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze viewing patterns on iNews television stations as well as factors that influence audience interest in the iNews Files program on iNews TV. The approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study method. The data collected for this research is obtained from in-depth interviews with the iNews Files production team, questionnaire distribution, demographic data of iNews Files viewers, as well as scientific works relevant to this research. Based on the results of this study, it was found that iNews TV viewers still choose television as a trusted medium for obtaining information, although it is only watched by viewers when they have free time from their daily activities, with the most preferred programs being news. Furthermore, the data illustrates that there are five factors that influence viewers' interest in the iNews Files program, namely the event program, information interest, personal identity interest, social integration and interaction interest, and entertainment interest.
