Proses Penyuntingan Video dalam Produksi Video Company Profile ZIS Indosat

Abstract

Informasi dalam komunikasi dapat disampaikan dalam berbagai bentuk, yaitu audio, visual, dan audiovisual. Bentuk audiovisual dianggap lebih baik dan menarik karena menggabungkan unsur suara dan gambar. Hal ini membuat informasi lebih mudah dipahami dan diingat oleh penerima pesan. Company profile video adalah bentuk lain dari company profile dengan format audiovisual yang berisi informasi seputar perusahaan, mulai dari sejarah, visi misi, produk jangkauan atau tempat dan program. Salah satu peran yang penting dalam proses produksi video company profile adalah seorang penyunting video yang memiliki peran untuk menggabungkan serta memperbaiki hasil dari produksi. Tujuan dari penulisan laporan proyek akhir ini untuk menjelaskan proses produksi video company profile ZIS Indosat dan proses penyuntingan video company profile ZIS Indosat oleh penyunting video. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penyusunan makalah proyek akhir terdiri dari empat cara yaitu observasi, partisipasi aktif, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Proses produksi video company profile melalui tiga tahapan yaitu praproduksi, produksi, dan pascaproduksi. Proses penyuntingan video company profile memiliki sembilan tahapan yang dilalui oleh penyunting video mulai dari Acquisition (memperoleh), Organization (pengelompokkan), Review and Select (meninjau dan memilih), Assembly (penggabungan), Rough cut (potongan kasar), Fine Cut, Picture Lock, dan Finishing. Tahapan-tahapan ini harus dilalui dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah proses penyuntingan video company profile ZIS Indosat. Hasil dari proyek akhir ini adalah terciptanya Video Company Profile ZIS Indosat.

Information in communication can be conveyed in various forms, namely audio, visual, and audiovisual. The audiovisual form is considered better and more attractive because it combines elements of sound and image. This makes the information easier for the recipient of the message to understand and remember. Company profile video is another form of company profile with an audiovisual format that contains information about the company, ranging from history, vision and mission, products, reach or places and programs. One of the important roles in the production process of a company profile video is that of a video editor who has the role of combining and improving the results of production. The purpose of writing this final project report is to explain the production process of the ZIS Indosat company profile video and the editing process of the ZIS Indosat company profile video by the video editor. The data collection techniques carried out in the preparation of the final project paper consist of four methods, namely observation, active participation, interviews, and literature studies. The production process of company profile videos goes through three stages, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. The company profile video editing process has nine stages that video editors go through starting from Acquisition, Organization, Review and Select, Assembly, Rough cut, Fine Cut, Picture Lock, and Finishing. These stages must be passed with the aim of simplifying the video editing process of ZIS Indosat's company profile. The result of this final project is the creation of ZIS Indosat Video Company Profile.
