      Abstract
MUHAMMAD SEPTO NASPHY.

MUHAMMAD SEPTO NASPHY. Prevalence and Treatment of Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease in Cats at Satwagia Bogor Pet Center Clinic. Supervised by HENNY ENDAH ANGGRAENI. Lower urinary tract disease in cats, commonly known as feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD), is a common disease in cats, especially male cats, and the symptoms are similar to feline urologic syndrome (FUS). This study aims to identify data on the prevalence of FLUTD cases and their treatment in cats. The research data was obtained by observing case studies in patients with FLUTD. Secondary data were obtained from the patient's medical record in the form of history and signals (breeds, gender and age) of patients with FLUTD for 1 year. The prevalence of FLUTD incidence at Satwagia Bogor Pet Center Veterinary Clinic in the January-December 2022 period was 4.1%. The highest clinical symptom of FLUTD in cats is hematuria with an average incidence rate of FLUTD at the age of the young adult phase. Treatment and care of FLUTD patients is carried out on average for 3-5 days with catheter insertion and also the administration of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory, anti-bleeding and multivitamins during treatment.
