Efektivitas Penggunaan Dento Bilaser pada Proses Persembuhan Luka Insisi Post Operasi Laparotomi pada Kucing Domestik

Abstract

Proses persembuhan luka memakan waktu yang cukup lama, salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk membantu persembuhan ini adalah dengan penggunaan dento bilaser disamping pemberian obat-obatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan kecepatan persembuhan luka setelah operasi laparotomi yang diberi perlakuan dengan dan tanpa pemakaian dento bilaser dengan menggunakan metode skoring. Hewan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 12 ekor kucing yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu 6 ekor kucing kelompok perlakuan tanpa dento bilaser (K1) dan 6 ekor kucing dengan perlakuan dento bilaser (K2). Parameter yang dinilai yaitu kemerahan, kebasahan dan kerapatan luka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada hari ke-1 kelompok kucing K1 dan K2 luka belum menyatu, Pada kelompok kucing K1 di hari ke-2 luka menutup 50%, pada hari ke-6 luka menutup 75% dan pada hari ke-7 luka menutup sempurna, sedangkan pada kelompok kucing K2 pada hari ke-2 luka menutup 50%, pada hari ke-4 luka menutup 75% dan pada hari ke-6 luka menutup sempurna. Berdasarkan hasil penilitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa persembuhan luka terjadi lebih cepat pada kelompok kucing dengan perlakuan dento bilaser.

The wound healing process takes a considerable amount of time, and one of the things that can help facilitate this healing is the use of dento bilaser in addition to medications. The present study was conducted to comparatively analyze the rate of wound healing following laparotomy surgery with and without the application of a dento bilaser, using a scoring method. A total of 12 cats were used in the study, divided into two groups: Group K1 consisting 6 cats receiving treatment without the use of a dento bilaser, and Group K2 consisting of 6 cats treated with a dento bilaser. Parameters assessed included erythema, moisture level, and wound density. The research finding revealed that in the 1st day both the K1 and K2 group of cats wound had not closed. In the K1 group of cats, wound closure reached 50% on the 2nd day, 75% on the 6th day and completed closure on the 7th day, in contrast K2 group of cats achieved 50% closure by the 2nd day, 75% closure by the 4th day and complete closure by the 6th day. Therefore, it can be concluded that wound healing occurred faster in the group treated with a dento bilaser.
